DTF film: Types And Selection Tips
Blog Article
DTF film is a heat transfer material that prints patterns or text on textiles. The patterns or text are transferred to the surface of textiles through heat transfer technology, creating a colorful and clear pattern effect. DTF film is widely used in textile printing and is suitable for a variety of different needs and materials.
Types of DTF film
Ordinary DTF film: Suitable for natural fibers such as cotton, linen, silk, and synthetic fibers such as chemical fiber and polyester. It has good washability and wear resistance, but the printing effect is slightly inferior to other models.
High elastic DTF film: Suitable for clothing that requires high elasticity, such as sportswear, swimsuits, etc., with excellent tensile properties.
Metallic texture DTF film: Suitable for patterns that need to present metallic effects, such as gold, silver, etc.
Fluorescent DTF film: Suitable for patterns that need to present eye-catching effects, such as sportswear, night running clothes, etc., showing fluorescent effects in dark environments.
Cold tear film: It is necessary to wait for the film to cool to a certain temperature after the hot stamping is completed before it can be torn off. It is suitable for special fabrics such as coated fabrics, canvas, flannel, etc.
Hot tear film: tear off while hot after hot stamping is completed, saving waiting time, suitable for mass production.
Second tear film: can be torn off in a very short time, suitable for high-efficiency, mass production scenarios.
Selection Tips
Choose according to printing materials: different materials have different printing effects. For example, natural fibers such as cotton, linen, and silk require ordinary DTF films, while synthetic fibers such as polyester require high-temperature resistant DTF films.
Choose according to pattern color: different DTF films need to be selected for patterns of different colors. For example, gold, silver, etc. require metallic DTF films, while bright patterns require fluorescent DTF films.
Choose according to the use environment: sportswear, swimsuits, etc. require high-elastic DTF films, while night running clothes, etc. require fluorescent DTF films.
Choose according to production needs: if you pursue efficiency, you can choose hot tear film or second tear film, which is suitable for mass production; if you need stability and matte effects, you can choose cold tear film, which is suitable for special fabrics.
